To the Editor:

I’m writing in support of Rebekah Harriman-Stites, who is a candidate for the State Representative seat for the 106th District.

Rebekah has proven herself a thoughtful member of Newtown’s Board of Education, where she has advocated for students’ equality and made decisions helping to maintain the district’s educational integrity. Never one to shy away from having difficult conversations, Rebekah has been outspoken in her support of keeping our schools open and adequately funded.

As a parent, entrepreneur, and engaged member of our community, I am excited about the possibility of having a representative that understands and prioritizes the issues that are important to me.

Collaboration is second nature to Rebekah, and I am confident we will see progress in Hartford under her fearless and dynamic leadership. Rebekah is a natural leader and I am proud to endorse her for State Representative.
