Annamay Koudelka, 72, of Newtown died October 13. She was born May 23, 1942, in Astoria, Queens, N.Y., to Lillian and Charles Koehler. She was the wife of Warren Koudelka, Sr.

Mrs Koudelka lived for her six grandchildren, and for her husband. She loved every minute of time she spent with them. Her family remembers her as a gentle and loving woman, always smiling. She had a knack for putting others at ease.

She was a huge animal lover, owning many pets during her lifetime, and loving each one.

Her husband of 50 years; her children Kathleene Banas, James Koudelka, Richard Koudelka, and their families, including six grandchildren; and many friends and other relatives survive Mrs Koudelka. Her parents and a son, Warren Koudelka, Jr, predeceased her.

Calling hours are Wednesday, October 15, at Honan Funeral Home, 58 Main Street, Newtown, from 4 to 7 pm. A funeral service will take place at the funeral home, Thursday, October 16, at 11 am. Burial will follow at Newtown Village Cemetery, Elm Drive, Newtown.
