To the Editor:

I would like all District #1 voters to join me in strengthening our Legislative Council representation by voting for Joe Girgasky. Joe is a longtime resident that will bring his common sense approach to district and town issues at the council table. Joe has held longtime managerial positions with small and medium-sized Connecticut businesses for most of his professional career. Exactly the kind of experience we need in a trying economy.

Joe and his wife Chris have a wonderful son, Mitchell, attending Newtown High. The entire family has always been community minded and never hesitates to support issues of importance to Newtown and its residents. Joe currently has a seat with the Public Building and Sites Commission and does a great job there.

Help revitalize and strengthen our Legislative Council by voting for Joe Girgasky in District #1.
