Rick Ruot

Ruot is a senior wide receiver and defensive back on the Newtown High School football team. He also plays defense on the Nighthawk hockey team.

Favorite part about playing football: “Being with the team and hitting people – tackling.”

Toughest aspect: “Practicing every day. It’s a long commitment.”

When he’s not on the field: Trains with the Marine Corps on the weekends.

Food of choice: Pasta with vodka sauce.
