NHS Girls Make It Ten In A Row, Then Fall

Newtown High School’s girls’ soccer team extended it’s season-starting unbeaten streak to ten games with a 2-1 win over visiting New Fairfield on October 6. The Nighthawks finally saw their winning ways come to an end in a 2-1 setback at Bunnell of Stratford on Monday. The Nighthawks, 8-1-2, were scheduled to visit New Milford on Thursday (after The Bee went to press) and will go to Brookfield on Saturday, October 15, before returning home to entertain Lauralton Hall of Milford at Treadwell Park on Monday, October 17 at 4 pm.
