Hanna Cranna & Friends Haunted Halloween Programs Planned

MONROE — Area young adults looking to get into the Halloween spirit are invited to take a guided tour of the Old Beardsley Homestead with Monroe’s Lady in White.

Hanna Cranna, the legendary witch of Monroe, will “lead” participants on a tour of the historic building at 31 Great Ring Road in Monroe on Saturday, October 22.

Monroe Historical Society has planned two different sessions of the popular “Visit from Hannah Cranna” Halloween program. The first program at 1 pm, is for ages 10 and under. Cost is $7 per child, and registration is required due to limited space. Adults are invited to accompany their children, free of charge. Cider and donuts and craft will also be part of the program.

The second program, for ages 11-13 and a little scarier than the afternoon program, will begin at 6:30. Registration for this 90-minute program is also required, and cost is $5 per person. Cider and donuts will be served.
