Parent Programs Moms Groups

Moms of Babies ages birth to 12 months will meet on Tuesdays from 10:30 to 11:30 am, runs through December 6. The fee is $25.

Moms of Toddlers ages 12 to 18 months will meet on Thursdays from 10:30 to 11:30 am, runs until December 8. The fee is $25.

Both of these groups will meet in Newtown Youth Service’s Parents’ Corner.

Moms of Multiples will meet once a month, on Fridays from 10 to 11 am; the next meeting is October 28, held at the Newtown Methodist Church. There is no fee for this group.

Gym Time: Toddlers to preschoolers meets at the Edmond Town Hall gym on Wednesdays from 9:30 to 11:30 am. The fee is $30.

The Hope And Support Group

If you are a parent with questions or concerns about your child’s possible or confirmed involvement with substances, you are welcome to attend this group. Meetings are held every Monday from 7:30 to 9:30 pm.

Youth Programs

NYCAAP — This group will meet on Wednesdays from 7 to 8 pm at the high school.

HSYAB (Youth Advisory Board) will hold its organizational meeting on Tuesday, October 18 at 5:30 at Newtown High School. YAB members perform various community service oriented projects. All students of high school age are welcome.

SMAD — Please watch for email announcements for meeting dates and times. All 7th and 8th graders are invited to attend.

Children of Divorce — Meets the first and third Mondays of the month from 6 to 7 pm. The next meeting is October 17.

 Sibshops — Meets the last Monday of the month from 5 to 7 pm. Begins October 24.
