The medical director is Peter D. Licht, MD, who has been providing work-related medical care in the greater Danbury area for more than 20 years. He also serves as medical director for several local companies and municipalities.
John Pendergast, PA-C, a certified physicianâs assistant, is the clinician and director of the new facility. He has served Danbury employers since 1996 and was a co-founder of PROS of Stratford.
The medical staff also includes Jennifer Holloway, MD, and Susan Licht, PA-C. Maribeth Kilcommons is the business office manager.
PROS of Stratford began as one of the first facilities in Connecticut dedicated solely to work-related medical care. It grew to include two sites serving the Bridgeport and Housatonic Valley region until it was acquired by Bridgeport Hospital in 1996.
The Newtown site will continue the PROS tradition of accessible work-related medical care. It features a family practice atmosphere and fulltime coverage by a physician. All services are provided including on-site x-ray and lab. Same-day appointments are encourage. PROS participates with all workersâ compensation insurance carriers and third-party administrators.
Office hours are 8 am to 5:30 pm Monday through Friday. It is open for urgent care Tuesdays and Wednesdays until 7 pm. Saturday hours will be announced. For more information call 426-8442.
