To the Editor:

I promise that I am not soliciting a “Bee’s Buck,” but wanted to solve the mystery surrounding your October 7 article “Low on Fuel, Pontoon Plane Lands on Local Lake.”

The “unnamed neighbor” is Greg Petriccione of Brookfield. A Norwalk Firefighter, Greg has lived on Lake Lillinonah his entire life.

He served for many years on the Lake Lillinonah Authority, the last several years of his tenure as Chair.

I am very proud of Greg and many of our neighbors here on Lake Lillinonah who frequently help boaters-in-need. Now we can add “planes” to that list.

Thank you Greg, and thanks to our great lake community for always helping!
