The Friends of Newtown Seniors will host a hot cider station, Saturday, October 15, from 1 to 3 pm, at 55 Main Street (in front of the Lerman residence). The public is invited to stop by, enjoy some hot cider, and meet members of the organization.

The cider station is "to inspire interest in Friends of Newtown Seniors; fall is the reason," said member Vicki Boccuzzi. "There is nothing more truly New England than the beginning of fall colors, the turn of the air, and the bright breezy days of October. There is no better place than Main Street Newtown to stroll and enjoy the start of the season."
