To the Editor:

JP Sredzinski epitomizes the vigorous and experienced representation that Monroe and Newtown need as a state representative in the Connecticut Legislature.

As chairman of the Monroe Town Council, where he was elected with bipartisan support in 2013, as a four-time member of the council and as chairman of each council subcommittee in turn, he has demonstrated his effectiveness as lawmaker and an uncommon commitment to enriching the quality of life in our community. Add that to his work with the Monroe Zoning Board of Appeals, the Advisory Board of the Greater Bridgeport Regional Planning Agency and his chairmanship of the Monroe Police Renovations Committee, where he showed his ability to complete large projects successfully, and JP Sredzinski stands as a candidate with exemplary qualifications.

The Sierra Club has also endorsed him, saying it is “confident that you will be a strong advocate for protecting the environmental health” in Connecticut.

JP Sredzinki deserves our support Nov. 4.
