Lions Raffle Drawing

The Newtown Lions Club is getting ready to draw the winning ticket in this year’s raffle of a classic 1966 red Mustang convertible at 5 pm on Saturday, October 23, at the Newtown Middle School.

Tickets are available at Amaral Motors on South Main Street and will be sold all day on October 23 in front of the Middle School.

The Newtown Lions use the money earned from the raffle to contribute to many local agencies and groups such as the C.H. Booth Library, where the Lions are equipping the activity room in the children’s department, Meals On Wheels, the Fuel Bank, Family Life Center, Thanksgiving and Christmas baskets, Cullens Memorial, and many others. The Newtown Lions also contribute to the state, national, and international eye care and research activities.
