To the Editor:

I have known Mitch Bolinsky for many years; long before he ran for election as a state representative. He is a Newtowner who is always willing to help anyone he can, whenever he can. He is caring and compassionate to all who need his help. Mitch is committed to the welfare of our senior citizens, our veterans, and our students.

Mitch always makes himself available to listen to anyone whether they are a constituent or not. He cares about not only Newtown, but the health and welfare of our entire state.

Mitch does not just show up at events to be seen. He is not the stereotypical politician who shows up just for a photo opportunity, but goes the extra mile behind the scenes helping people quietly without any fanfare.

I live in the 112th General Assembly District. Mitch Bolinsky is running for re-election in the 106th General Assembly District. As they say, "I do not have a horse in this race." I do know Mitch as a friend and Newtown neighbor. I know for certain that if re-elected he will continue to do his best for Newtown and Connecticut .
