Kenneth Kellogg

Kenneth William Kellogg of New Milford, previously of Newtown, beloved husband of Bridget (Meyer) Kellogg, died October 9. Ken was born in Bridgeport on May 13, 1945, a son of Marion (Germond) Kellogg of Newtown and the late Floyd Ellsworth Kellogg.

Mr Kellogg attended Trumbull schools and graduated from Trumbull High School in 1963. He was a member of the US Army Reserves during the Vietnam War. He earned degrees from Norwalk State Technical College and Central Connecticut State Teacher’s College and went on to become an educator at Masuk High School for 38 years, where he taught woodworking, metal working, power mechanics, drafting, autoCAD, pre-engineering drafting and architecture. For years he also designed and constructed beautiful sets for the Masuk Drama Department.

Ken is survived by his mother, Marion; spouse Bridget; their children Jennifer and her fiancée Ronny Rahman, Floyd and his partner Audrey Sterk; and a beloved grandson. He also leaves behind his brother Allen and his spouse Cheryl, sister Maribeth and her spouse Kenneth Onofrey all of Newtown, as well as cousins, nieces, and nephews.

He was predeceased by his brother Floyd and his spouse Carol.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 am Friday, October 12, at St Joseph Roman Catholic Church in Brookfield. Calling hours where scheduled 5 to 8 pm Thursday, October 11, at Honan Funeral Home, 58 Main Street in Newtown.
