Dreams  Come True?

BROOKFIELD — Dream Come True of Western Connecticut will sponsor an informational cocktail hour for prospective volunteers.

The Volunteer Appreciation Evening will be held on Wednesday, October 17, from 6:30 to 8:30 pm, at The Fox Hill Inn, 257 Federal Road. Complimentary beer/wine bar and assorted hot and cold hors d’hoeuvres will be served.

The mission of Dream Come True is to raise money in order to grant dreams to seriously, chronically and terminally ill children in Western CT.

In order to achieve any level of success, volunteers help us with everything from raising money, raising awareness in the community about the organization, help run fundraising events and/or social events throughout the year, doing administrative work, sending out mailings, collecting goods/services to be donated to the organization, organizing volunteers, interviewing prospective dream children, helping to plan a child’s dream... and the list goes on.
