MS Caregivers Support Group Meetings In The Area
There are more than 6,000 Connecticut residents diagnosed with multiple sclerosis (MS), an often-times debilitating disease affecting the central nervous system. The National Multiple Sclerosis Society/Connecticut chapter offers more than 20 support groups throughout Connecticut. These groups bring together caregivers and individuals who share a common life experience as it relates to MS and its effects.
The Danbury MS Caregivers Support Group meets at Main Street Rehab at 235 Main Street, from 7 to 8:30 pm, on the second Wednesday of each month. For more information, call 264-2252.
The Trumbull MS Support Group meets at the Trumbull Library, 33 Quality Street, from 6:30 to 8 pm on the third Tuesday of each month. For information about the Trumbull chapter call 203-445-0118.
