Parent Education Program (PEP)
The State of Connecticut requires completion of this program as a prerequisite to granting a divorce. Sessions of the course sequence are designed to help families cope with the effects of divorce on children. Call 426-8103 for more information.
NYFS 22nd Annual Holiday Festival
The Newtown Youth & Family Services 22nd Annual Holiday Festival will be held Sunday, December 2, from 11 am to 5 pm, on Main Street. For more information, call 270-4335.
NYCAAP Bake Sale & Pumpkin Decorating will be held Saturday, October 13, from noon to 4 pm at Paproskiâs Tree Farm.
Halloween Decorating & Plant the Promise Party â Decorating the grounds at 17 Church Hill for Halloween as well as planting tulips and daffodils for âLook at Me: Iâm Drug Freeâ week on Saturday, October 27, from 11 am to 2 pm. All are welcome to join.
Moms Programs
Moms of Infants up to one year will meet Tuesday, October 16, from 10:30 to 11:30 am.
Gym Time next meets Wednesday, October 17, from 9:30 to 11:30 am at Edmond Town Hall.

Youth Advisory Board (YAB) will meet Monday, October 22, from 2 to 3 pm, in the high school cafeteria.

Grandparents/Caregivers will meet Wednesday, October 17, from noon to 2 pm.
