Jeanne Bonvouloir Minnock

Former Purchasing Agent For Trumbull

Jeanne Bonvouloir Minnock, 87, died October 8 in Venice, Fla. Mrs Minnock was born January 8, 1920, in New Bedford, Mass.

Survivors include two loving sons and their wives, John and Gail Minnock of Newtown and Paul and Janet (Bunny) Minnock of Florida; two loving daughters and their husbands, Jeannette and Robert Del Vento of Newtown and Marie and Vito Del Vento of Easton; and a daughter-in-law, Phyllis Minnock of Florida. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren, Charles III, Michael, and Stephen Minnock, Vito, Jr, Maria, and Adrianna Del Vento, Gina (Del Vento) Reitmeyer, Robert Del Vento, Michele Del Vento Barrows, Mark Minnock, and Kimberly (Minnock) Hettenbach; and 10 great-grandchildren. Her beloved husband, Charles Joseph Minnock, Sr; two sons, Charles J. Minnock, Jr, and Thomas Minnock; and her sister, Anita Bonvouloir preceded her in death.

Mrs Minnock was a longtime resident of Trumbull and worked as the purchasing agent for the town of Trumbull for many years. When she moved to Florida, she was the purchasing director for the City of Venice.  She was past president for the National Purchasing Association.

Family and friends are invited to calling hours Sunday, October 14, from 4 to 7 pm, at Cyril Mullins Funeral Home, 399 White Plains Road, Trumbull. Funeral services will be held at the funeral home Monday, October 15, at 9:45 am, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial celebrated at St Teresa Church, 5301 Main Street, Trumbull. Interment will follow in The Gates of Heaven Cemetery on Daniel Farm Road in Trumbull.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests a donation to Fisher Center for Alzheimer’s Research Foundation, One Intrepid Square, West 46th Street and 12th Avenue, New York NY 10036.
