Four Seasons Ball To Feature

A Venetian Masquerade On October 27

WILTON — Step out on the town for a lavish evening full of enchanting surprises, fun and games, and old-fashioned pageantry. The stage is set for The Kennedy Center’s 43rd Annual Four Seasons Ball at Rolling Hills Country Club, 333 Hurlbutt Street, which will be transformed into a Venetian Masquerade for the evening. Tickets cost $200 per person.

More than 300 masked guests are expected for the black-tie optional event on Saturday, October 27. There will be a full-course gourmet meal, live music celebrations, and chances to play Deal or No Deal.  The festivities begin at 7 pm with a social hour and hors d’oeuvres.

Ball guests are encouraged to preorder a mask of their choice. For a dramatic, grand entrance, be a phantom or harlequin. Or try a more romantic look with a feathered sequined mask for the ladies or an elongated nose mask for the men.

The evening will celebrate a longstanding tradition that was established more than 43 years ago. The first Four Seasons Ball was organized to raise funds for the first men’s and women’s group homes in the state. Today the community continues to support The Kennedy Center’s greatly expanded residential services program at this annual gala.

Proceeds from the ball will benefit The Center’s extensive residential services for people with disabilities, including 14 group homes, a supported living option program, a family support and respite service, and the nationally recognized Caring for the Caregiver Program that offers support for parents of family members who are developmentally disabled.

Sean Carroll of Trumbull has been selected as this year’s Tribute Journal honoree. As president of Merit Insurance in Bridgeport, he is a well-known community leader, strong supporter of The Kennedy Center, and respected professional in the insurance industry.

Nearly 30 volunteers are working on the Four Seasons Ball Committee, including Susan Batcha of Sandy Hook.

Call The Kennedy Center at 203-365-8522, extension 260, for more information about the Four Seasons Ball.
