Local Members Participate In 4-H Festival, October 28
FAIRFIELD â Fairfield County 4-Hers will participate in the annual Fallback into 4-H Festival, October 28, at the First Presbyterian Church in Fairfield. During the festival, a panel of judges will evaluate 4-H projects ranging from leisure arts to science and technology. While projects are being judged, youths will participate in a variety of workshops conducted by local volunteers. Workshops include dance, police dogs, juggling, Halloween crafts, and wood painting.
Members of the Junior Leadership program will organize noon-time activities such as pumpkin decorating and small group games. As a community service project, youths will contribute after school supplies for Project Learn in Bridgeport. 4-H projects can be viewed by the public from 12:45 to 1:45 pm.
This activity is organized by over 20 youths and adults. For more information about 4-H, contact Ede Valiquette at 203/207-3264.
