The 2024 Lions Mustang Raffle has one week to go before the winning ticket is pulled.

The Mustang Raffle continues as the club’s primary fundraiser for Lions Charities. This year’s car is a 2021 low-mileage convertible with a black top in grabber yellow, with black and yellow leather interior.

Sports car enthusiasts love the eco-boosted 2.3-liter engine with 310-horsepower and 350 foot-pounds of torque, and a 10-speed automatic transmission. This sports car has great appeal for everyone who loves great handling and a fun ride at touring speed. The car includes all the latest safety features, automatic convertible top, remote entry, and lots more.

Raffle tickets are $20 each and available at newtownlions.org.

On Saturday, October 12, the car will be displayed and tickets sold during Stormville Flea Market from 8 am to 4 pm. On Sunday it will be at Seymour Lions Car Show, being presented from 8 am to 3 pm at Bicroboard Processing, 36 Cogswhee Lane in Seymour.

During the week of October 14-18 the car will be at Dodgingtown Garage, 61 Dodgingtown Road (Route 302). Residents and passersby can purchase raffle tickets during business hours (Monday through Saturday, 7 am-8 pm).

Final tickets will be sold in person only the morning of Saturday, October 19, in front of Edmond Town Hall, 45 Main Street. The winning ticket will be drawn at 1 pm.

By entering this drawing, ticket holders are helping the local Lions provide valuable assets to dozens of local, regional, national and global charities. The Newtown Lions Club Foundation is a 501(c)(3) organization and all net proceeds go to Lions Charities.
