To The Editor:

I’m writing to strongly support Michelle Embree Ku for State Representative in the 106th district. I’ve known and worked with Michelle for several years, and she is smart (she’s a PhD biologist), extremely hardworking, thoughtful in her positions, and passionate about improving life in Newtown.. She has dedicated a large part of the last 12 years to serving in multiple leadership positions in town government, and she’s worked at the state level as well, so her background is outstanding. Michelle is a proud Democrat but is also endorsed by the Independent Party — she truly listens to all points of view to arrive at the right decision. There is no better candidate to represent us in Hartford — vote for Michelle on November 5.
