Joseph Scott Galleries will host a live art auction on Thursday, October 17, from 6:30 to 9:30 pm, in the Alexandria Room of Edmond Town Hall, 45 Main Street.

Tickets are $30 per person and include admission, hors d’oeuvres, beer, wine, coffee, and desserts.

Proceeds will benefit the child abuse prevention programming at Families Network of Western Connecticut. The nonprofit organization focuses on strengthening families through parenting education and support for the prevention of child abuse. Families Network is located in Danbury but serves the greater Danbury area, including Newtown.

A preview session will run from 6:30 until 7:30 pm, with the live auction to begin at 7:30. There will also be a silent auction.
