Students set to travel to China, France, and Spain this year through Newtown International Center for Education (NICE) programs had a chance to meet in Newtown High School’s Lecture Hall on Tuesday, September 24.

According to NICE Program Coordinator Tim Dejulio, the day was held to offer a chance for the students to meet each other and bond together. To facilitate that, ice breaker questions were handed out for students to answer in groups.

NICE facilitators oversaw the students participating in groups, and reviewed other aspects of NICE the students should be familiar with before starting to work with the program, like a review of the program’s mission statement, behavioral expectations, and more.
