Women’s Network Features Lifestyle Author

NORWALK — Entrepreneurial Woman’s Network (EWN) starts the fall season with “Strategies for Success: How a Wall Street ‘Mover & Shaker’ Turned Her Passion into a Thriving Multi-Media Business and Hot-Hot Book!” The event, featuring Devon Fleming, founder of two successful lifestyle and design companies, and author of The Pink Book, takes place from noon to 2 pm, Thursday, October 16, at the Norwalk Inn & Conference Center, 99 East Avenue.

Ms Fleming will teach techniques to bypass roadblocks while covering the dos and don’ts of building a business in Connecticut or elsewhere.

She will also discuss using media to attract a local following, how to expand a core idea, and how to transition smoothly between home and career.

Paid reservations and entrée selections must be received by 5 pm, Friday, October 10, in order to qualify for an advance reservation rate of $32 for members or $40 for nonmembers. An additional $5 “walk-in” fee is applied at the door if not preregistered.

Reservations after deadline will be accepted on a space available basis. Reservations must be made on-line at www.ewn-ct.org.

For more information, call 203-222-3404 or get details through EWN’s website.
