St Rose Participates In Walkathon
For Catholic Schools
The students, parents, faculty, and friends of St Rose School will take part in the 18th Annual Walkathon for Catholic Schools at St Rose School on Sunday, October 19, from 1 to 4 pm. Participants will walk approximately three miles and will receive donations for their school for participating. The walkathon has raised more than $1.8 million for Catholic schools since it began in 1991.
St Rose School participants will join together with many other Catholic schools in the Diocese of Bridgeport at St Rose School.
St Rose Schoolâs goal is to raise $15,000.
All of the money raised in the October 19walkathon will stay at St Rose School and will be used for various building improvements and the purchase of educational tools. Last year St Rose School raised $14,683, thus helping to maintain a viable option for parents seeking a choice in education.
