Kaila Harrington, 14, a freshman at Newtown High School, has been wearing the CRT lenses for nearly a year.

“It took me about a month to get used to the lenses, but it was worth it,” she said. “Going from soft lenses to hard, you can feel the lenses in your eye, but once you go to sleep you don’t notice it.

 “I have really bad vision and play sports, but I had problems with my contacts, getting dust in my eyes. Now I can see all day. It works so much better, wearing the CRT lenses all night, and not having to wear anything during the day.”
