The Newtown Tennis Association will hold its annual General Meeting/Indoor Tennis Party on Saturday, October 14, from 7:30 pm to 12 midnight, at the Beaver Brook Tennis Club. All NTA members are invited.

A brief meeting will focus on the association process and special business.

Furthermore, the NTA membership is required to elect its new officers for the 2001-2002 term at this meeting. The recommended slate of officers for election are Hugh Lavery (president), Bob Gabor (vice president), Susan Tibbetts (treasurer), Cathy Cantore (secretary).

Nominations will also be accepted from the floor during the meeting.

The meeting will start promptly at 7:30 pm. The tennis party itself will run from 8:15 pm to 12 midnight.
