Mr And Mrs Ethan A. Sullivan

Jennifer Helen Kiely and Ethan Andrew Sullivan were joined in marriage on June 10 at St Rose of Lima Church with the bride’s cousin, the Rev Daniel J. O’Brien, SJ, the Rev R. Bradley Beaupre, CSC, and the Rev Robert Weiss officiating.

The bride is the daughter of Mr and Mrs Eugene M. Kiely, Jr, of Newtown.

The groom is the son of Mr and Mrs Thomas Sullivan of Burlington.

The bride was given in marriage by her father.

Her gown was of silk chiffon, and she carried a bouquet of white roses, hydrangea, and stephanotis.

The matron of honor was the bride’s sister, Laura (Kiely) Buzaid of Newtown.

The bridesmaids were the bridegroom’s sister, Claire Sullivan of Burlington; Jennifer Baiad of Charlotte, N.C.; Patricia Farren of Boston, Mass.; Suzanne Nixon of Newport, R.I.; and Bethany Sullivan of Hartford.

The attendants wore dresses of navy blue silk chiffon and carried bouquets of lavender hydrangea.

The best man was the bridegroom’s brother, Brett Sullivan of Evergreen, Colo.

The ushers were William Duffy of Chicago, Ill.; Robert Lyons of New York, N.Y.; Todd Zegras of New York, N.Y.; Donald Perozzi of Portland, Ore.; and Jay Barringer of Omaha, Neb.

Junior attendants were Hillary and Brendan Buzaid of Newtown and Sarah and Connor Spotts of Carlisle, Mass.

The bride graduated from Immaculate High School in Danbury, Providence College in 1995, and received a master of social work from Fordham University this year. She is a school social worker with the Quincy, Mass., public schools.

The groom graduated from St Paul’s in Bristol, Boston College in 1994, and received a master of higher education administration from New York University this year. He is an academic advisor at Boston University.

The reception was held at Ridgewood Country Club in Danbury.

Following a wedding trip to St John, US Virgin Islands, Mr and Mrs Sullivan are residing in Somerville, Mass.
