In her presentation, “A Day in the Life of a Children’s Book Writer,” Ms Calmenson explores the making of a book from idea to publication. The show also features Rosie, the author’s certified visiting dog and star of her own book, which Smithsonian Magazine called “...one of the outstanding non-fiction tiles of the year.”
