To the Editor:

As a longstanding member of the Board of Finance, I’d like to express my support for Sandy Roussas for Board of Finance. As new candidates step forward to fill the vacancies on the Board of Finance, I feel confident in Sandy’s abilities and qualifications to carry out her duties as a member of this board successfully. Her education and training as a litigator gives her the necessary experience and expertise to think critically and analyze facts. In that capacity, she also maintains responsibility for creating and managing litigation budgets for clients of varying sizes — from large institutions to small and individual clients. Sandy has also demonstrated commitment to her prospective duties as a member on the board by attending many town board meetings and staying current on the issues. As a new face to Newtown politics, Sandy promises to bring a fresh perspective to the board with a resolve to collaborate and listen to every voice. She has my trust and my vote.
