The field hockey game between Newtown High School and Brookfield High, scheduled for Friday, October 9, will take place at 3:45 pm as planned, but the location of the game has been changed. Originally slated to take place at Treadwell Park, the matchup will now unfold on the turf at Blue & Gold Stadium.

The Nighthawks have a record of 4-2-1, and the Bobcats come into the game with a mark of 4-6 overall.

Newtown is scheduled to visit Joel Barlow of Redding on Saturday, October 10, beginning at 6 pm, and will travel to New Fairfield on Tuesday, October 13 for a 5:30 pm game. The next home game, following Brookfield’s visit, is set for Wednesday, October 14, when Lauralton Hall of Milford comes to Blue & Gold Stadium for a game under the lights, beginning at 7 o’clock.
