Please join me this Saturday, October 10, from 11am to 4pm, at the Passport to Sandy Hook event! This is one of the best events of the year and it celebrates so much about what makes Newtown a wonderful place to live. As an almost 20-year resident of Sandy Hook, I’ve watched the local businesses here work to develop a beautiful village with many things to do. Bring down some canned goods for the Faith Food Pantry and drop them off in the parking lot behind Cover Two. You can park there, get a Passport and show the kids the fire truck on display. We are proud that we have 36 merchants participating this year. Visit each one to get your passport stamped for a chance to win one of the prize packages which are worth over $3,500. Pick one of our local eateries to have lunch, get some Christmas shopping done and enjoy the beauty of the village. There will be live music and fun things for the kids to do. I hope to see you there!
