Friends of Counted Embroidery meets on the second Thursday of each month, September through June, from 10 am until 2 pm, at Christ the King Lutheran Church, 85 Mt Pleasant Road.

The group is dedicated to furthering the knowledge and enjoyment of a variety of the needlework arts. It hosts instructional programs on a monthly basis with either “stitch-ins,” seminars, lectures or open meetings on different types of needle arts.

New members are welcome whether they are novice or expert needle workers.

Attendees need to provide their own lunch; coffee is available.

Meetings for 2013-14 will continue on October 10, November 14, December 12, January 10, February 14, March 13, April 10, May 9, and June 13.
