Beloved Mother And Grandmother

Winfred “Winnie” Beuret, 81, previously a resident of New York City, died October 5, at Ashlar of Newtown. She was the wife of the late Henry “Hank” Beuret. Ms Beuret was born in New York City, May 24, 1928, a daughter of Elizabeth and Timothy Berry.

She is survived by three children, including  Richard Bretton of Newtown; and four grandchildren.

She co-managed several residential buildings in New York City, as well as co-owned a restaurant before relocating to Hollywood, Fla., in the early 1970s, where she and her husband managed various residential properties. Ms Beuret lived in Florida for 20 years before relocating back to Connecticut in 1990.

A Mass of Christian Burial was scheduled for Friday, October 9, in St Rose of Lima Church, Newtown, at noon. Interment will be private. There are no calling hours.

Arrangements are in care of the Honan Funeral Home, 58 Main Street, Newtown.
