Southbury 9, Tigers 5: Andrew Buzzi and Andrew Janco had great games defensively.
Bombers 10, Nasty 3: Tim Cervera had 3 hits to lead the Bombers.
Southbury 11, Dark Knights 6: Switch hitter Owen McInerney continues to hit well and Pete Debona boomed a double.
Tigers 5, Woodbury 2: Ben Dieckman and Henry Primavera had 12 strikeouts between them.
BIB 5, Southbury 4: Rob Lombardo, Greg Brissette and Graham Dowd all pitched well.

Newtown Rangers 12, Aspetuck 6: The Rangers unleashed an offensive barrage Sunday at Newtown Middle School Field, scoring all their runs in the first four innings. The win boosted the local clubâs record to 5-1. The Rangers scored three runs in the first inning when Brock Chimileski walked, Ben Stoller drilled a line-drive single to left field and Brandon Cooper crushed a two-RBI double to right center. John Hampford followed with an RBI single to right. The Rangers added four more runs in the second inning. Max Temple and Eric Pisani walked and moved to second and third on stolen bases and a wild pitch. Ryan Pisani smacked a line-drive RBI single to left, and Eric Pisani scored on a wild pitch. After Miles LoBuglio walked, Garrison Buzzanca ripped a double down the right field line to score Ryan Pisani and LoBuglio. The Rangers opened the lead to 8-0 in the third inning. Stoller walked, moved to second and third on a wild pitch and passed ball, and scored when the Aspetuck pitcher tossed an errant pickoff throw. The Rangers added four more runs in the fourth inning. Ryan Pisani pulled a double down the left field line and LoBuglio rapped a single. Max Lopez walked to load the bases, and Buzzanca, Chimileski and Jon Hull followed with consecutive RBI walks.
Left fielder Lopez made two excellent catches, one with the bases loaded and none out in the second inning. Lopez whipped the ball into the infield, and no runs scored in the inning. Temple and LoBuglio both pitched two strong innings, each yielding just a single. LoBuglio walked none. Finishing the game as the catcher, Cooper nailed a runner trying to steal second base in the seventh inning.
Newtown Base Inc 2, Newtown Rangers 0: Eric Sutton and Austin Ekstrom threw a shutout under the lights at Fairfield Hills Field last Friday night. Sutton pitched the first three innings without yielding a hit. Ekstrom, who scattered five hits over four innings, stopped scoring threats with inning-ending strikeouts in the sixth and seventh innings. Austin Bonadillo and Ryan OâKeefe scored first inning runs for Base. Three walks, two wild pitches and an infield groundout led to the runs. Rangers pitchers Jon Hull, Kyle Wilcox and Brandon Cooper threw a combined one-hitter, yielding just a third-inning single to Dean Demers. Hull pitched four masterful innings, facing just 15 batters, walking none and striking out six. The Rangers had five hits, including two singles by Wilcox, doubles by Hull and Ryan Pisani, and a single by Eric Pisani.
