Adopt A Cat From The Animal Center

The following cats are available for adoption through The Animal Center:

BENSON is a long-haired black Maine Coon mix kitten. He was found in a cat carrier at a local vet office. Benson is  adjusting well to life in The Animal Center’s foster program. He is still learning not to fear  humans, but has discovered that petting feels nice and playing with toys. In the right home, Benson will blossom. He is neutered, healthy and current on vaccines.

PUMPKIN is a friendly, playful and sweet 9-week-old kitten. She was rescued from being euthanized at a kill shelter. Now that she’s safe, Pumpkin is looking for a new home. She’s a lively kitten, healthy and current on vaccines.

MALIBU is a purry, 5-month-old buff tabby lap cat. Malibu has been getting overlooked for adoption because he’s a little shy when meeting new people and he’s no longer a “baby” kitten. Malibu has a loving personality and is in need of a new home. He is healthy, neutered and current on vaccines.

ANGEL lives up to her name by being affectionate and outgoing. She would like nothing more then to be petted or to play. A young mother to Spyder and Pumpkin, Angel was spared being euthanized at a kill shelter when volunteers stepped in to save her and her kittens.

Good news: Nova, Aladdin, Cougar, Gizmo and Aragon have been adopted.

To adopt, contact The Animal Center at info@theanimalcenter.org or 270-0228 (emailed preferred).

The Animal Center is a Newtown-based, non-profit animal welfare charity. Our feline programs provide rescue, rehabilitation, spay/neuter, and adoption services for homeless cats and kittens in the community. The Animal Center partners with other rescue groups as well as veterinary offices to save cats who might otherwise be euthanized. The Animal Center is a 501 (c)3 publicly-supported charity, helps approximately 250 cats a year, and relies heavily on the support of the public and generous volunteers.
