Successful Parenting Tips Workshop At Wooster

DANBURY — Wooster School and New England Country Day School are the cosponsors of an evening workshop for parents. Practical, proven methods of communicating with children of all ages will be explored by internationally renowned author Elaine Mazlish. Her award-winning books How to Talk So Your Kids Will Listen and Listen So Your Kids Will Talk and Sibling Rivalry are national bestsellers.

The Successful Parenting Tips workshop will be held at the Wooster School Alumni Gymnasium on Ridgebury Road in Danbury on Thursday, October 26, at 7 pm. The event is cosponsored by the Wooster Parents’ Association Committee for Parent Education and the New England Country Day School. The admission is free.

Ms Mazlish’s lecture offers a friendly, supportive, and effective method for helping parents become better communicators. She highlights effective methods of communication to help children cope with negative feelings, invite cooperation, and leave adults and children feeling positive about themselves.
