Inspiration And Aspiration

To the Editor:

I am writing this letter to publicly express my sincere appreciation for all that Lin Hertberg has done and will continue to do to create “Project Aspire” for our community. I acknowledge that he has had help, but I also know how much of this comes from himself.

At the first meeting, I was truly touched by his deep interest and concern for the well being of Newtown’s middle school-aged girls... our girls. His dedication and unselfish commitment to the betterment of these “aspiring” young ladies is a perfect example of the genuine goodness we strive to instill in them. If even a fraction of Lin’s altruism and benevolence rubs off on any one of these girls, Project Aspire will have been a wonderful success! The young ladies of Newtown are lucky to have Lin Hertberg.
