To the Editor:

If you want a Legislative Council that is responsive to your needs, you couldn’t find a better Legislative Council candidate than Judit DeStefano.

Judit currently serves on both the Ordinance, and the Municipal Operations Committees of the Legislative Council, and she loves the work. She feels a deep sense of responsibility towards the people of Newtown. She’s a hard worker, and she really listens, so she can understand the needs of her community. Judit is a great collaborator, who reaches across the aisle so the Legislative Council can work as a team for the benefit of all of Newtown.

Judit recognizes the importance of an excellent school system for our community and believes that we can maintain the quality of our schools while ensuring fiscal responsibility. She wants to see Newtown continue to develop resources for the young and the elderly and wants to see Newtown become a more walkable community. She believes Newtown needs a balance between economic development and a strong sense of community.

Let’s keep community strong and vibrant; community matters. On November 5, cast your vote for Judit DeStefano for Legislative Council.
