Having known George Ferguson personally since he moved his family to Newtown in 2002 — and side note, the Fergusons were, and still are, more than excited to be living in such a beautiful and welcoming town — we’d be remiss in passing an opportunity to share our thoughts about George running for Newtown’s state seat in the House of Representatives. George is personable and quite humorous, but dead serious about fiscal responsibility and dedication to public service. In 2006, he was acknowledged by the Susan B. Anthony Foundation, dedicated to prevention of domestic violence and sexual assault, for his tremendous work in support of the organization’s development. He is a well-educated, moderate Republican who listens and deeply considers all views. In all the time we’ve known George, he and his family have been serving Newtown and the Danbury-area communities in some way, without any personal agenda. George Ferguson is a man to admire and trust in making decisions about Connecticut’s future.

Please join us in supporting George Ferguson for Newtown’s state seat this November!

Respectfully,

Steven and Elizabeth Dorso
