Llodra To Speak To Working Women’s Forum

The Working Women’s Forum, an association of local professionals and entrepreneurs will feature a talk entitled, “The 5 Tenets of Leadership,” by Newtown First Selectman Pat Llodra.

Business and professional women are invited to learn how to gain perspective from the “balcony level,” think politically, and orchestrate the conflict between the pressure points. She will explain how to share the load and give the work back, hold steady, and how to take the heat without getting hot.

The program will be held Wednesday, October 13, at The Villa Restaurant, 4 Riverside Road in Sandy Hook. Networking and appetizers begin at 6 pm. For reservations call 203-426-8693 or e-mail register at rsvp@workingwomensforum.net.

The program is $10 for members, $15 for nonmembers, with a cash bar, and attendees are urged to bring canned food, personal health, and beauty item donations for the Newtown Food Pantry.
