THE NEW ENGLAND FALL ANTIQUE SHOW, OCTOBER 23 & 24 â jh/dg/10-1
SALEM, N.H. â Dozens of antique dealers from across the northeast will gather at the New England Fall Antiques Show being held at the Rockingham Park Expo and Race Track on Saturday, October 23 from 10 am to 5 pm and Sunday, October 24 from 10 am to 4 pm. Formerly held at the Valley Expo Center in Methuen, Mass., the New England Fall Antiques Show has consistently set attendance records. Rated as one of the top shows of its kind, this premier event will feature hundreds of sought after items including furniture, ephemera, china, silver, Folk Art and jewelry dating as far back as the Seventeenth Century.
The New England Fall Antiques Show features some of the highest quality antiques found in the country. Widely anticipated by avid collectors and industry insiders, the New England Fall Antiques Show is once again being lauded for its caliber, size and vast selection.
With exhibitors from New York to Maine, the third annual New England Fall Antiques Show offers a wide variety of antiques. From Folk Art to nautical, small collectibles to hand-painted country furniture, porcelain and glass to lamps and books, the show features top quality antiques in an easily accessible venue.
New England, known as a treasure trove of antiques, is represented by dozens of individual collectors and retail shops. From Andover, Mass., Bob Frishman of Bell Time Clocks will present ornate clocks and other classic time pieces. Linâs Quilts Source in Conn. will display antique quilts, vintage fabrics and special care items. Robert and Janet Sherwood from N.Y. will feature Nineteenth Century furniture and decorative arts. From Portsmouth, N.H., Pat Reese will showcase American Indian antiques including jewelry, basketry and pottery.
