Flagpole Photographers October Programs Announced
Flagpole Photographers Camera Club invites readers to its October events, starting with the program night on “Underwater Photography & Animal Behavior,” hosted by Robyn Bright.
Bright will share her expertise in the world of underwater photography and animal behavior. There will be hands-on stations available, so those planning to attend should bring their camera.
The program will be on Thursday, October 12, at 7 pm, at Newtown Senior Center, 8 Simpson Street.
The competition theme for the month is “Scary,” and the monthly challenge theme is “One Leaf.”
This will be virtual and in person, also at the senior center, on Thursday, October 26, at 7:15 pm.
Members compete in a different assigned subject each month, as well as in a Monthly Challenge, Open Color, Open Monochrome, and Nature categories. The Monthly Challenge is decided at the competition meetings for the following month. While the competition is only open to members, the public is invited to listen to critiques and learn about photography.
There is no charge to attend Flagpole Photographers Camera Club competitions.
