To the Editor:

I am writing to endorse Chris Smith for Legislative Council in District 3 and urge you to support and vote for Chris in the upcoming election, Tuesday, November 2.

I have known Chris and his family for over 20 years since moving to Newtown in 1997.

Chris has taken a proactive role in shaping the direction of our town as an elected member of the Legislative Council in District 3 for the last four years.

I know Chris to be a dedicated family man with intelligence and high integrity. A person who is very knowledgeable on local and state matters. Chris has a strong understanding of our town’s history and one who is compelled and willing to take action on the issues and challenges that affect our everyday lives.

I would count on Chris Smith to play an integral part in guiding our town through the many challenges we face in the future. A solid citizen, serving us and our community, who will continue to be an asset to our town. Join me is supporting and voting for Chris Smith for Legislative Council in District 3 on Election Day, Tuesday, November 2.
