Alexa Wilhelmina Fitchett, 64, of Danbury died at home on September 27. She was born January 8, 1952, in Yokohama, Japan, while her father, Curtis S. Fitchet, served in the United States Army and her mother, M. Georgine Fitchett, served with the American Red Cross.

Ms Fitchett graduated from the Newtown school system.

She worked for many years at Ethan Allen Furniture Co. Her interest in music and singing was her passion. She sang with the Paul King Orchestra. She spent her retirement days giving voice lessons.
