The third annual Passport to Sandy Hook will be held on Saturday, October 12, from 11 am to 4 pm.  The event is sponsored by SHOP – Sandy Hook Owners for Prosperity.

Years of effort and commitment on the part of local businesses, residents, state grants, and the town government have helped transform this village into an attractive and diverse town center of interesting shops, great restaurants, good businesses, and lovely mixed use buildings with storefronts and apartments. Its beauty is enhanced by the bubbling Pootatuck River and attractive streetscaping. The area is welcoming for walkers and even has two pocket parks available for those who want to relax and take in the sights.

Come join in the celebration on October 12. Your visit to Sandy Hook village promises to be fun, interesting, and, above all, demonstrates support and encouragement for our local businesses.
