Rescheduled Labor Day Fair Sunday At NMS

A Labor Day Fair originally scheduled for Monday, September 5, which was rescheduled — along with the 50th Newtown Labor Day Parade — will be held this weekend at Newtown Middle School. The event will take place Sunday, October 9, from 10 am until 4 pm, at the school, 11 Queen Street.

The Labor Day Parade Committee is sponsoring the event, which will offer plenty of refreshments by Newtown-based Romy’s BBQ, with pork shish kebabs, hot dogs, and hamburgers, fried dough, and soft drinks.

In addition to artisans and crafters, local business and non profit group will have tables set up. GMS Rowing will also be there, with a crew boat to answer any questions about crew.
