Mystery Pink Softball Team Wins

In u12 softball action this past week, Newtown’s Mystery Pink defeated Brookfield 15-12. Mystery Pink picked up its third straight win in a tight game against Brookfield. Solid bats from Amanda Berry, Olivia Mubarek, and Erin Burns kept the runs coming, while Jenna Pannese and Nicole Lillis starred on defense. Pitchers Tegan Doherty and Kaysie Fisher both performed well on the mound, but the clear MVP of the game was Anna Johnston with several outstanding plays at second base and a key hit to the outfield.
