Firehouse Ride A Success

To the Editor:

On behalf Newtown Hook and Ladder Co. #1, I would like to thank everyone who attended our Second Annual Firehouse Ride and Pig Roast to support Hook and Ladder’s efforts to raise additional funding towards a new firehouse. The day turned out to be beautiful, and the overwhelming attendance from the community exemplifies their commitment to support our efforts.

Special thanks to the One Eyed Pig, Newtown Savings Bank, and The Lake Road Guys; without your support this event would not be possible. Thank you to all our sponsors, Sandy Hook, Botsford, Dodgingtown, and Hawleyville volunteer fire companies for their continued support and the local businesses who sacrificed some parking during the event to aid in its success.
